Well this sorta sucked. My reset button died. So I took it all apart and swapped the internal switch with the "metric" one since I never use it. No fix? And the metric worked fine.

I noticed as I pressed the reset it felt soft. So I took it apart again and found that the longer "finger" each switch uses to press the electric switches had broke enough to be too soft for pressure on the switch.

So I swapped it with "status" until I get a used button assembly.

Not fun. Thanks for reading my rant.

Ok - so whats up with the light in this dang thing? Of course all the bumping around means it burned out.

It has a built-in base. Is it some Ford thing or a standard lamp I can get anywhere?
