I'm in the process of buying a 1995 Mark VIII LSC. It's a one owner, 111,000 mile beauty, burgundy with white interior. Owned by an older gentleman (one owner) who recently passed away. The car is in absolutely excellent condition inside and out, back seat looks new, suspect it was never sat in, only the driver seat has some small signs of wear. Mechanically, the rear air suspension needs some work and there are a couple of other small items that need attention.
I need some help! I have looked extensively over the web for a Factory Shop Manual for this car, with no luck. I have found Manuals for the Mark VIII and Town Car, but I'm concerned that they wouldn't be accurate for the LSC based on the differences of engine, transmission, suspension and the body.
Did Lincoln make Factory Shop Manuals for the LSC, or were they included in another Manual? Also, where could I find a Factory Manual (if they exist) for the LSC?
Thanks, Ray

In short, the only difference between the LSC and the regular Mark VIII are the seat leather is perforated, it has a dual exhaust, and the rear gear ratio is 3.27 instead of 3.08. And a few have Gen1s have better headlights.

That's it. If you found a Mark VIII manual, it'll work perfectly. To the best of my knowledge, Ford never made a LSC specific manual because there was no need for it. Everything is virtually the same.

Clearly, a Mark 7 manual wouldn't work. And a 89-97 Thunderbird manual is better than nothing. And the Town Car is a completely different car. Don't even consider the RWD Lincoln Chilton book either.

I just did a double check, and right now there are 3 95 Mark Factory Shop manuals for sale on e-bay ranging in price from $33 to $85. I have bought from "laurie and jeff" in the past and have been very satisfied.

Thanks guys!
The info on the Manuals is great. I've bought from 'laurie and jeff' also with good results. I've decided to get the Mark VIII Shop Manual and probably the same vintage Thunderbird Shop Manual, too. I can do the repairs, but prefer to work with the proper technical reference. I'll post again as soon as I get the LSC and put a few miles under it. I can't wait to put the first stage upgrade on it; K&N Cold Air Pickup and dual glasspacks! Gotta sound good too! :D
Again, thanks,
Ray
