i know i can just get the front hubs from a 94+ mustang and rotors for the front, but where to get the rear rotors and hub for the rear i know the 2000+ IRS setup on the cobra's is what i want but i dont want to have to get brackets so the cobra rotors fit..also where would i locate the hub? Thanks in advance

uhh yes i should have known better...sorry i figured it could have been summed up in a few lines..im not asking how to do it...im asking on where is the best place to get the parts but ill do a search i guess

rear hubs 99-01 cobra is the safest bet im pretty sure 03-04 work too but better just to go with 99-01. Talk to max for the hubs or try ebay. just get mark viii rear rotors redrilled to the mustang bolt patern and stay with the stock brakes back there.

yeah nothing that was blantenly obvious to see in search...i need to know more about what rotors to use to retain stock brakes front and rear and also good place to get rear hubs..im not worried about bearings i can get those from a jobber

what kinda vehicle would i want to get rotors for, not looking to upgrade brake system..

gotta stay with stock mark viii and get all rotors drilled then. cost me 50 dollars at a local machine shop. Take them mark viii rotors and a new hub, they drill the holes where the current holes arent not slotting them or anything ghetto.

^^^what he said..

As for the rear rotors, just a FYI, 03-04 cobras are 31 spline and ours are 28 spline. I assume 99-01 is 28 spline but i would make sure first!..

ok thanks for info...i would rather not drill out rotors...ive seen brackets you can get to relocate rear calipers to fit the cobra rear rotors...is that something that is avail or needs to be fab'd up

also..would i just be better to swap mustang calipers etc to the mark VIII spindle for the front

You can make the brackets or if your buying the rear brackets from Fast Ed, ask him if he has any of the hubs left he had a short while ago. He is in Ontario as well, so shipping them would be cheap if need be, and he had a great price on them...

just to help you out on info the outer spline count on the 01-04 cobras are 28 and the inner is 31 spline

If you use cobra hubs.... Use cobra brakes. I had my rear hubs machined to the mustang bolt pattern and just attached them to the new mark viii rotors via the mark viii bolt pattern and drilled through the new mustang holes. It's not worth spending money on sending the rotors to a machine shop. It's been holding up for a few months now with no problem or vibrations. And just run a full mustang setup in the front. Go for cobra brakes up front just to avoid future problems with the gt pbr's that rub once the pads wear a little.
