i have a 96 mark 8 and i have no idea why the air ride wont go on. it has coil conversion in the front from previous owner, i replace the rear bags, my compressor works when i apply direct power to it, but it doesnt turn on any other time. does any one know what the problem could be. i checked the fuse by driver door and the HC fuse under hood both seem fine and none of the shared features of those fuses are out

switch on an everything, i wish it was that simple. the weirdest thing is that the air ride ok message is given to me in system check. im assuming something must have been done to make it say that since ther is coils in the front.

Make sure the front height sensors didn't become disconnected.

yeah just checked, the sensors are there and seem to be connected....im really stumped at why the compressor wont even engage

thanks ill have to check on that, this guess n check crap is killin me lol are there any other components i could check or prepare to ta buy while im in there?

On your 96 you can "barrow" the ABS relay on the driver's side. I actually removed mine by simply taking off the cornering light. It was not too tricky getting the connector off and a torx driver in there. The long way is to take off the wheel well liner. But if you swap this one it, and it works, you know its the relay.

so it wasnt the relay, not only did i test my abs relay, i also picked a used one up from a dismantling yard, no luck...is there a reason my module wouldnt be getting power? is there a way i can check and see.
