manual trans speed sensor

OK, I've tried the search function and came up empty. I know that its in here somewhere because I remember reading the thread. It was posted by someone who did an auto to manual swap.

Can anyone tell me the name of the company that supplies the correct speed sensor for the mark 8 after installing the manual trans?

i think you are talking about this. i started this thread but have not bought one yet so i don't know if it works but 94M5 (mike) put a t45 in his mark and said this worked.

Sorry about the delay, Im still in Iraq and dont have easy access to a computer. I'm getting everything ordered and sent to my brothers shop so when I return, my time wont be wasted on tracking **** down.

I got a new T45 with billet steel synchro struts and shift forks and a shifter with positive stops. This supposedly cures the failings of this tranny. We'll see.

Dallasmustang is what I was looking for. I guess if I would have used speed cal instead of speed sensor I would have been more successful on the search. Thanks for getting me the info.
