Just felt the need to sound off on how much meaner my LS sounds with this sucker. I got it installed perfessionally a week ago, I was afraid of tearing apart the old, rusted factory exhaust (plus it's 0 degrees out!!).
Anyway he said it was real easy to do - no welding- and fit perfectly. It made driving and stepping on the accelerator fun again. So to anyone who enjoying hearing the engine in action and is considering the Magnaflow with some expendable income, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Nice man, but in regards to your signature, I know at least 1 of my buddies who's civic would walk you :D, and yes, I do own an LS. Don't hate on honda just because kids put body kits on them and wings.

lol no I don't hate on all civic drivers, a lot of em are actually done right with the kits, mods and what not. But apparently you are not familar with North Jersey, I see a bunch of kids driving totally outta control, and for whatever reason, most of them I see are in civics, it's really meant to be tongue-in-cheek though.

A civic that can run 13sec 1/4 mile is still a civic. speed isn't everything. And most of the 'vics i see around here are passed down from one high school kid to another. It's kind of funny to watch the cars get slowly destroyed. This one kid had a Sentra, really really gay sentra. Wrecked it and messed up the driver side fender. Sold it to a younger kid when he graduated. Next kid wrecked it (still not fixed from the first wreck) and messed up the hood and bumper. He sold it when he went to the 11-12 school. Next kid - still waiting on him to wreck it. And it's still not fixed yet.

I think I know why, 1) first kid dumped a lot of money into look fast stuff 2) first kid thought it could handle 3) next kid thought look fast stuff = go fast stuff. 4) its a Sentra.

thanks for the heads up 02 LSE... I'm at work and w/o speakers but I'll certainly check that link out!

I thought the Magnaflow wasn't a readily available kit yet. Apparently it is? Which makes it the only exhaust system out there for late model LS's? I hate being mainstream but really despise it when there aren't options for a car as numerous as the LS is. I posted on the Performance thread the following:

Do any of the V8 S Type Jaguar applications fit (or nearly fit), i.e. does anyone know if the similarities of the chassis include the exhaust routing/fitment of a catback? I see a system that looks promising here:

http://www.jaguarxp.com/jagxp/Jaguar...t system.htm

Or the Remus Mufflers.....tips here:

http://www.remus.at/php/index.php?cm...Motor=12 2936

and the Remus mufflers on the Jag site link:

And in regards to price, you'll not catch me griping, if I can just find a decent system that can work I'll be happy.

I will be doing my exhaust on the 2002 LS hopefully this Saturday. I have a friend with a shop that does custom exhaust that I work out of on Saturdays. I bought the x-pipe and 2 rear magnaflow mufflers, gonna custom bend the pipes. If anyone needs exhaust and can drive to Northern NJ I gaurantee you will not be disapointed. I have pics of other exhaust we have done. I have done alot of Lincoln MArk VII's, Mark VIII's, the LS looks like a cake walk. Anyone that has seen my exhaust on this board, FordvsChevy.com, and Lincolnsonline can tell you how good we are!!!!!

Yea, I have seen alot of hack exhaust done, and I hate to hear the stories about people paying for a terrible exhaust.
