On the day of LVC's 1st Anniversary, what better timing than to have LVC hit the newsstands today with a mighty fine article by Jeff Bauer of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. Our fearless leader Joey is interviewed and does a great job talking up the virtues of the LVC.

You were, but we had to include pictures, so I guess you were cut! Hey, look at it this way, at least you made the cutting room floor and then the trash can. Oh wait, the interview was on the phone. The transmission may have been garbled and he couldn't make out your name. Now I remember, the Q/A was sent via email and the message string was too long.

There is another article coming out in Playgirl. I hear you're going to make the front cover. We'll be watching for ya.

Anyways great job Joey! Keep up the excellent work. I, for one, am highly impressed with what you have been able to accomplish in a single year. It takes a ton of time to organize and run a site such as this for someone already "in the know", not to mention an absolute newbie who one day just decided to "go for self".

You have done an excellent job with LvC and show a relentless passion for your site and it's members. I have a lot of respect for you and I think all of the members here do too.

When I come here and see everything that you have accomplished a few different things come to mind. The first one is how this could have affected LOD, and where LOD would be today with your help (and mine, and the rest of the LvC crew). I think about the times when Sharon was bitching and complaining about sh!t not getting done and how I asked her and a few others to stop talking and take some f'ing action. Well that is exactly what Joey has done with LvC

Now I could write a book describing everything that has happened and I really wish everyone here knew everything that I do because their respect would increase ten fold. As far as what kind of person you were, what you were doing and how you were gonna go about doing it, I wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but for the last year and a half, you have made me a believer in your talents and tactics, and especially LvC! :)

Thanks for the shout out in the article, that was extremely cool!

Can some one post the article, i haven't been able to find to find a copy of the magazine.
 
i saw it on the stand at auto zone but didnt break down and pay the $5 lol

Hey, You know it!! They won't be able to keep Playgirl on the stand once it hit with my pic on the cover..

I should have bought that VIII on eBay that was used in the Porn movie and done a spread showing the nasty spots that needed to be cleaned..

I know that it must have been my negative attitude that missed makeing the article!! LOL

Joey, I haven't had the priveliege of being here from the beginning, but I will say that I have really enjoyed the time that I have had. I think this forum is great, it's setup is great, and it's people are great! Thanks for having all of us and here's to another great year! :Beer

Ultimately, its all of you that make LVC great. All I really do is provide a little place for you all to hang out. Its the Members that make LVC what it is.

I want to thank you all.
 
Not sure it this will work but I don't have a program that will convert this into a text document and I'm not going to type re-type it.

Also don't know what format would work better so I tried 2.

mespock, Thanks for posting the article, i was able to read most of it but not all hopefully when i get paid i can get the magazine and read it good. Joey you have done a great job with the site congrats.
 
This is so great, seeing people have more respect for the Lincoln name, great job Joey, I will have to go to my local Borders and greab an issue off the rack today so I can read the article. Awesome Just awesome, hats off to Joey :Beer :monkey:
