Lucas Oil

Lucas Oil Stabilizer...........

is a 100% petroleum based product. Mobile 1 is a synthetic based oil. You should not add petroleum based additives to synthetic oils. It can cause an untold number of issues.

As a side not to this.............

Lucas offers an synthetic oil stabilizer if you feel the need to add something to the superior synthetic oils.

Dare I ask if the same goes for SeaFoam?

While SeaFoam and some other products may not hurt the synthetic properties of some oils, they are known to cause issues with others. To be on the safe side, I would only use additives that are marked as safe for use with synthetics. For the most part, synthetics do not ever require additives. Petroleum based additives were initially designed to replace components that were depleted over time in petroleum based oils. Synthetics are designed with additives that are designed not to break down and become depleted. That is one of the main reasons that you have longer drain and change intervals with synthetics. That and the fact that you do not have the heat related breakdowns. I have run synthetics in all of my vehicles for many years now, and have never had a lubrication related failure. And I am not easy on my vehicles.
