Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has put only LSE side skirts on a LS with the regular front and rear bumper. I have a black 2000 LS sport and like the style of the LSE side skirts, but I don't want to change all my bumpers. Has anyone done this, or seen pics of someone who has? If there aren't any pics, do you think it would look stupid? I would like to see a pic because I can't imagine if it would flow without the front bumper or just look like I threw them on the car. This is just something I've been thinking about. Any comments, suggestions, and/or pics are welcome.

Im looking to upgrade just the front bumper, but the LSKoncepts price is huge for just the front bumper, its crazy.

Ken used to sell just the side skirts, but they aren't on his site anymore. They were also a 1/4 short. Don't know if there was something wrong with those or if that's the standard. Yeah the lskoncept's price is high, but I don't think that it's his fault. I was going to keep my eye open on ebay and hit a couple junk yards for the side skirts.

i think it would look bad with just the side skirts because i think the side skirts come closer to the ground, just my opinion
btw i've never seen a pic and i don't have an lse kit

in my opinion it would look wack! but hey to each his own. If anyone hears about just the front bumper being sold let me know.

If you think my price is high call the dealer. As a matter of fact, the dealer may show it as discontinued. We get the bumpers direct from the manufacturer.

What happened is that the manufacturer only made a certain quantity of the side skirts which sit for about 4 years. This caused the side skirts to shrink. Why they shrunk is a mystery to them. So, basically they have a few extra front fascias and rear valances but to put the kits together they only had enough side skirts to piece about 20 kits together.

Right now, we only have 12 kits left. The manufacturer is telling us that once those are sold they will NOT make anymore. So the 02 LSE body kit is a dying breed. Once the are gone...they are GONE.

thats why im going to save up to get my front bumper like asap. Ken do the bumpers come painted and with the round lights? Is it the whole complete kit? thanks.

The kit is unpainted. The body kit comes with the front fascia, side skirts and rear lower valance. The OEM round fog lights are an option when buying the body kit.

I just bought a brand new 2002 LSE side skirts and rear valance. Should I put this on my black 2001 LS But I will keep the 2001 NON-LSE bumper on it.

or

my 2000 light parchment gold LS with the LSE bumper off a 2005.
I would like to put it on the 2000. But would the new LSE bumper go with the old LSE kit. I remember seeing a picture before that someone upgraded to the newer style LSE bumper on there 2002 LSE. If anybody has a picture that would be great.

I don't think the 00 - 02 side skirts would look right with the 03+ LSE bumper, or the regular style bumper.

Here's the stock bumper

Here's the 03+ LSE

It doesn't flare out the same as the 00-02 LSE bumper or side skirts. A better match would be the 03+ LSE skirts and rear valence.

If it can get past off it will be on a black ls. Maybw do the 2002 lse side and rear skirt. Then in the front 2005 oem HID headlights the 03+ fog lights and a mach one chin spoiler

So that was YOU that won the bid on ebay!!! Just playing, but I did consider trying to outbid you. :D There's a guy on cardomain that has the first gen LSE sides and rear, with the second gen LSE front. I thought it looked really good, as I was hesitant at first. It's a black LS if you want to look for it.

thank you I just spent 2 hours looking for it. But no luck maybe another day. Yes It was that one it on ebay.

Ok so here is my question. I have a 2000 LS and I would like to have the LSE bodykit on my 2000 can it be done and will it look nice. I like the LSE bodykit better. Please help me....

There is a guy driving around Windsor, ON with a aqua blue ls (Like hyelifels) He has the 2002 LSE package. He also cleared out his headlights and installed clear corner lights. LOOKED REALLY NICE. He has a complete kit.

The only color that I have ever seen pull off just the skirts and rear valance is a black car. But it also had the mach1 chin.

I should have mine all done this weekend. Putting the side skirts and rear valance off the 2002 and the front fascia off a 2006. I also have the 2006 OEM HID headlights.

Also installing this weekend stainless steel brake lines, painted black calipers, magnaflow mufflers and x-pipe, GTO bosal dual tips, and 19" Avarus rims
