LS survey site go and spread some good

Well, it's a skewed survey to begin with. People love to bitch. Normally it's an "out of sight, out of mind" mentality. If everything goes smoothly, nothing is said. As soon as something goes wrong, people blast it on the internet.

Did you read some of those complaints? The car is a piece of junk because of a ball joint? A wear and tear item? WTF? Some of those people need a kick in the balls.

It's the demographic of the people that are buying these cars. People that buy a Lincoln often times don't know a headlight from a gas cap. They think that by buying a $40k car it should somehow magically be resistant to wear and tear. These are the same people who take their car to the dealership for $75 oil changes because it "might void the warranty if they don't." Look at a Mustang for instance. Many of them are known for having common problems, just like the LS. Yet, most people consider them to be quite reliable. For the most part that's because a lot more people who buy a Mustang know how to work on it and understand that car parts do break and realize their time will be better spent by fixing the problems and not bitching about it on an internet site or trying to file a damn lawsuit on a ten year old car.

Yes most of the posters are crazy. IE I had to replace my brakes @50K and balljoints @ 125K and they cost 1200 dollars!!! So the car is a POS. Give me a break. LOL

Sites like those always show the negatives only. Ever so rarely people take the time to praise things.

I just posted on the site in question. I compared my LS to a Jag I had several cars ago. The LS is a much better car, whether one is looking at performance or general quality. I DID resist the urge to talk about hot-rodding the LS.

I read once, I believe on Edmund's a complaint about the LS saying the car is complete junk because they were going down the interstate and there front tire blew out.
