After pulling up to a light that has just changed to red ( this one takes a while) some stupid was playing very cheap metal music iun a crpped out half junked eclipse as loud as he can.

This got anoying very fast so I turned some tastefull metal up to beat out the crapy sounding garbage ( I think it was korn that he was listening to).

Well the light finaly turned green and my wife went to turn it down as we pulled away from this retard but her hand slipped of course causeing the dial to go the opposit direction.

Then the letter C appeard after the track number. It kinda sounds like my drivers side door speaker is blown but not realy. Is this message telling me I have a blown speaker?

??? I dont know stereos at all, whats that?

May I add that its a 2000. My manual covers only the basics with the unit.

"Compression feature

Compression adjust brings soft and loud CD passages together for a more consistent listening level"

Number 5 on the stereo should have "COMP" above the 5
