LS Clunk

I just bought an 2003 LS V8. The car is amazing for power, ride etc. but I noticed a weird clunk coming from the right rear of the car when going over manholes etc. It only does it when it is a quick bump, no other time when driving. The garage I had it in today said it is likely the link kit in the back, but was 100% sure. The link kit is $100+ per side, so I would really like to make sure. Anyone else have this problem and solve it will replacing the links?

I'm not 100% sure.. but there was a TSB about the ball joints "clunking" in the front.. but I haven't heard about a clunk in the back...

Does the rear have ball joints?? If they do, you might want to check out the ball joints.
