What is the best way to get a 2001 Lincoln Ls the lowest possible even if it does not ride that well. All help will be Great. Also were to get them if you now.

The best way is springs but if you want it slammed and dont care about ride and control cut the springs, torch the springs, or get those shackles. Either way until someone comes up with a better plan:shifty: springs are the best way.

Yea. I have the eibach Lowering springs. I was looking into the Sprint springs because they lower it 1 3/4 inches. What do you guys think about Sprint Springs?

I have the sprint springs and like them a lot. I kinda want to go about a inch lower.

You could always bag-it!

+1 if you want it real low, then throwing air bags on it are your best option not cheap at all, but it will be low as hell. plus you can always raise it if you need to for any speed bumps, and you wont lose any ride quality, handling is a different story but it will feel like your riding a cloud.

No, no. I seen some cars handle better than any with bags man! True story.

God I cant believe I forget the company but someone has a video out with a Magnum tearing around. The thing is they make it a point to show how much better the suspension and handling is than any other suspension configuration for the vehicle.

The thing with bags on a LS is when you actually slam the thing-and I mean slam- you get that look where the wheels have crazy camber rather than sitting flush like most other vehicles. I guess with some know how and some time you can get it flush but from what I gather its a pain in the ass.

there was a special on the speed channel for a bag companie where they had two camaros with and with out bags run a road coarse and the one with bags did run faster, but there is a difference with the systems between a proformance bag setup (like the Marks have) and the lowrider style bags.

one of the guys i work with has a pretty sweet air ride system in his S10 and when we were checking out all of the options for his truck, the guy at Chop and Drop Custom Shop, showed us all the different types of bag systems he could go with. some where for slaming and layin frame, and some where for sport use. he was telling us that if he went for the sport setup, it would wear the bags out early to run them low all the time. since he wanted to be able to park it on the frame, he went with a bag setup that was fine if it was driven around damn near empty, and there was a ton more body roll than when he just had the lowering kit on it no matter what height he crused at.

Your correct but as Im saying this company claimed that the bags they sell are so good you can utilize them for performance rather than just slam the car.

The point they crossed was that the bags were for slamming but as quality and as durable as a more sporty type of bag.
