So my stock bulbs are going out. I know I can get used bulbs for an expensive price but I was wondering if there was an aftermarket hid bulb that would work with the stock D/C ballast?

not for the stock ballast. DC HIDs have gone the way of the dinosaurs.
get a cheap AC kit and DLFs delrin adapters.

Just took the headlights out today. They were still working when the car was parked so they should still work now.
