my 2001 eldo showed check engine 6 months ago and i couldnt pass inspection...i had the radiator replaced because the mechanic told me there was a hole in it...and a bunch of sensors replaced including the oxegen flow sensors..yet the car still seems to be loosing coolant and every month or so i have to pour in a whole bottle. the check engine light is still on as well. the mechanics i go to have no idea...the best ive heard is that maybe there is a space on one of the pistons in the engine and its cover where coolant is escaping and thats a fortune to fix...pls help if you have any ideas
