My Toreador '96 has been wanting to run hot with the 95+ degree heat and the A/C on. It gets pretty close to the top of normal. The fan works properly. The coolant is not low. I checked for air in the system when I got home, but after trying to burp it for 15 minutes I didn't get any bubbles. The flow looks good in the crossover tube. The water pump is new.

It has a 180 Stant thermostat with the wide orifice. It's fairly new too. The temp came back down to the lower half of normal while idling.

Does that pretty much cover everything? I'm thinking clogged radiator. It's likely original and has 182,000 on it.

I suppose I could get the one I have repaired. There's a radiator shop close to my house. Is it worth it though? I can probably get a new one for under $125 locally.

So what do you think? New radiator?
