Looking for a Gen 1 V8

I have a friend who bought a 2000(or 01....hell I am not for sure) model LS today. I do know it's a Gen 1. Anyway, he is looking for a 3.9 if anyone knows of a solid one for sale. Ran across one on Ebay and am awaiting a response with the mileage. I know my buddy's funds are tight so I seriously doubt he can spend more than $1500 shipped. Shipping to zipcode 45680.

Anyone know of any?
