Looking at buying a 93' mark VIII, what to look for.

Ok, I'm not actually looking to buy it I'm helping my brother buy it. I'm wondering what are the good questions to ask the prior owner that specifically pertain to the Mark VIII. Do the transmissions in these last as long as the engines? It has 142K miles.

Not much to ask must take it out and look it over ... checke the physical conditions ... rust ... leaking oil ... things that just don't look right. Give it a good Test Drive ...

Turn the steering wheel all the way to each side and look at the ball joints, links, and bushings behind the wheel.
