Anyone can tell me where to find the IAC valve on '98 mark VIII? I just read where is was suggested it be repplaced every 5 to 10 years, and I have 10 years and have never replaced it.

It right on top of your intake manifold... I'll try and find a pic for ya...

I wouldn't bother if it is working. The car should till be drivable if it goes bad and it is not a hard to get part.
And f you believe in a higher power say a little thank you that you don't have a Gen1 when you do replace it.
