LMS Chip, is it Diablosport or Powermaxx

Bought a LMS chip, got a diablosport deltachip with there programming which doesnt really do anything in my car - still working to resolve this. After browsing the page I see that they say they sell "powermaxx" chips. A little confused... Can someone help me out?

hey someone that the website hasn't been updated in a while... so theres your reason. anyways, ill to get pics of my install so you can see what im working with in regards to the chip. I did per the directions - didnt notice any difference in performance.... :-(

You're not going to notice anything in performance from any chip (with the rare exception of say a turbocharged vehicle with electronically actuated boost control...) On a Mark VIII, it would take probably 20hp or more to actually notice a difference on the ass-dyno. I barely noticed a 50 shot actually... but looking at timeslips I could really tell a difference.

i noticed a difference immediatly with my diablosport lms chip... but i also got the MAF and catback exhaust installed the same day... once i hit the highway on my way home i was like " hoolllllyyy ccrraaaappp !!!"

I didn't have any luck with the diablo either. There are better options out there.

Again as I explained before to you Matt, we use the Diablo blank with our programming. We do not get the Diablo "BLACK" private label blanks anymore so we use our program on a true Diablo blank and you will notice a difference from a good program, shifting, power and MPG wise.

what did you do to change your mind on this?

I know you posted all over the internet that you "couldnt feel a difference",
now..it's "freaking awsome"???

What happened that went from "nothing to awesome"?

It would have been better if you had posted a followup in this thread, rather than starting a new thread.

The way you did it, people will find this thread and ASSUME the issue was "Unresolved".

Give us an update so people will know what you did to fix the problem you experienced when you first installed the chip.

sure thing, went down and saw gene... he checked the contacts, drove the car determined that the problem was the program on the chip.. not the connection, i mailed the chip back (compensated for the shipping), talked to the manufacture they reflashed i guess, and mailed it back.

the program i believe that was on the chip i got only took off the speed governor, I know this because when it was on there i hit 136ish on the highway, with it off it was goverened at 120 ish.

well when i put it back in, car was a lot more aggressive. great mod for the money, this would be the first thing anyone should do. The track will tell, i can't wait to go.

i also have an intake as well, stock MAFS. is it necessary to have the upgraded mafs?

So long storys short, i had the wrong program on my chip or no program at all not sure. but it was resolved and I am very pleased.
