Little Story.

So i have a fun story... not :shifty: Anyway one morning im driving on my way to work.. and i feel my 03 ls v8 start shaking and sputtering and a loss of power. Next thing i see Etc Fail safe mode pop up and the cars shaking and cant move i pull over into a parking lot. Shut the car off and start it up again and let it idle for a sec. Next thing i see a cop pull up behind me.. gets out and asks for my license and all that B.S. and says i failed to signal as i changed lanes and entered the plaza. I explained to him the issue i was having with the vehicle. He pretty much dident care. At this point i dident care my farthers a detective and knew the ticket would be gone with a phone call. He drove away and i try and see if i can get this thing to work. Drive maby another 50 feet does it again... So i call into work tell em i wont be there. Call Triple A he comes out very nice guy says he will gladly tow it to the dealer for me. Get it to the dealer then explain the issue they have a tech look at it and then tell me all my coils fail the stress test? and need new spark plugs and coils and told me how much it will cost.. at this time i remember reading NYC LS8 posting something about a program covering this. Thank you for posting that by the way helped me alot. This forum is Great! But anyway I mention something about that and they play dumb and say ohhh yes we forgot about the m707 sorry its covered we will call you when its ready. Come back pick the car up dident have to pay a cent. Replaced all 8 coils and spark plugs the car drives like a champ now.. And after that wonderful morning of stress and missing work i still love my LS and my brother makes fun of me says American cars are trash i love it no matter what. Just thought id share my fun experience with my ls.
 
Me too, but caught my name in there...somehow. :D

No problem, dude. That's what this place is for. Glad you got it all fixed without having to pay a dime.
 
Haha sorry for the headache guys. Appreciate tryna read the long story tho lol. Just wanted to share my Ruff times with the LS
 
When I read about that letter mine had 100007 miles in it. The might have fixed it under the warranty for a little benji under the table but oh well. Nice to see you sticking with the ls

your dad is a detective? I thought maybe he was an English teacher.

Thanks Mom.:rolleyes: Oh, and don't rip on someone's grasp of the english language when you can't even spell "didn't" correctly.

Edit: My bad, let me rephrase that: Don't rip on someone's grasp of the english language when you don't know how to use quotes. Suddenly that doesn't have the same bite to it.

Another wise guy. I came to this forum to learn things.. seek answers about my Ls. DIDN'T think i would have people make a big sh*t about one typing error. Guess some people have nothing better to do. And tell me where i wrote "diednt"....?

You and the rest of us. That doesn't make you special in any way, shape or form. Although, and I could be wrong here, I thought it was named "LS", not "Ls", or "lS", or any variant thereof. Of course, I could be wrong. Don't own one.

One typing error, no. Probably not. But when you misspell the same word over and over, and when you have the writing skills of a 3rd grader, then, yes, we will make fun of you. Again, you can either learn from it, or go cry to your daddy... or mommy... or, whoever you choose to cry to. For the record, I'm not involving your parents in this conversation directly.

diednt, deidnt, dident... I suppose I couldn't make myself dumb enough to (im)properly MISSPELL that word, I guess.


I foresee you as another "one post wonder" if you don't grow some balls and a thicker skin.

not trying to be a jacka$$, but there is not a forum out there that doesn't have a few people that will call that out every time, and here is no different. one mistake, they might let that slide, same mistake three times, they got ya. forget it and move on.
