Engine keeps overheating, its been bled. Brought it to 3 shops no one wants to even get into it because of how "complicated" it is. One shop told me the hoses are warm and not hot something like that, and that it may be the Dual Climate control? Wonder how bad I'm going to get raped

Not as badly as taking it somewhere that they think the DCCV would relate to overheating, or somewhere that they think the LS setup is complicated.

You will most likely find that a number of the plastic pieces are cracked.

You can pay the $100 diagnostic fee and then do the work yourself, or you can get the dealer to do all of it. Going back to those other shops should not be an option. At the worst case, if many of the cooling system parts need to go, you are probably looking at $1500. ($900 labor, $600 parts). That's just a guess. On the good side, you might come out at $400 or so.

Yeah they can pressure test it at the dealer for ~100-150 to pinpoint any leaks. I'm getting ready to retrofit my cooling system once the parts arrive.
