Lincoln Vs. Cadillac

Unfortunately got into my first accident with her today. Id have to say I definitly won the battle though hah. Anyways his was a 2006 DTS and mines an 02 LS. I had a lot of scratches on the bottom of the bumper and theres a little crack on the top of the bumper and the trim piece got knocked off. All his damage is pretty visable and I'm not sure if this was just what this site was waiting for truely LvC here.

By the way he mentioned how well the Lincoln held up against a Caddy and said he may think about getting one.

he hit your rear though, had the tables been turned your car might've been the one that took the worst of it. as far as your hit, it definately isn't a huge repair but his will take some serious money to fix

Those DTS' are sweet. If they weren't wrong wheel drive, I woulda looked at those too before getting the LS, even though I'm a big Lincoln fan.

His bumper reinforcement went under yours. He took the most of the damage because the area above the reinforcement is weak. Had he let off the brakes just before he hit you it would've been better for him, but about the same for you.

My grandmas Buick just got rear ended a few days ago. Some guy in a beemer wasn't paying attention, and was rushing to get to the airport because he was going to Brazil. Bent up part of the exhaust system on the Buick and fudged the bumper. Took off half of the beemers front end because the nose dove down when he slammed the brakes.

Make sure you have everything checked, and dont sign off on it, until you drive it some. My wife got rear ended, and we had the car in the shop 3 times to get it right...
