Lincoln Rear Brakes

Wow it's been a few years since I posted on here. Life has been kicking me in the knees for the past couple of years so I had to do a lot of downsizing. A couple of years ago I started on a 47 Ford coupe and need a bit of wisdom. I pulled a master cylinder, booster, brake pedal setup from a late 90s Ford ranger, but decided to use rear disc brakes instead, and everyone has been telling me to use an M/C from a disc/disc car. I was wondering did all the 90s-00s big Lincoln. and Mercurys come with 4 wheel disc brakes and would that master cylinder fit a Ranger booster?

I can only say that I had a 91 Grand Marquis and it had rear drums, no ABS. I had a 94 Grand Marquis and it had rear discs, and ABS. My son has a 2001 Ranger with rear drums, and three channel ABS.
