Lincoln ls6 throttle?

helllo lvc my car is in the shop
old fuel pump went out
anyways my gas pedal was loose
i asked them to see if they can tighten it


if the gas pedal gets tighten will my throttle response increase or open wider?

What year is your LS? (Makes a difference in what kind of pedal set up you have, mechanical or electronic.)

Do you have adjustable pedals? (If you do, this could be where the looseness is.)

no i dont have adj pedals i wish i had em though

Okay, you have a mechanical throttle. Your return spring may be a little weak, or there may be play in the cable or a bad joint somewhere.

All you have to do is open hood have some one in car mash gas pedal, you then watch the Throttle body cam turn,then when mashed you try to tune it more to see if it will go more. Engine off.
