Just thought i'd post this for fun. I have posted before on my LS's ability to accelerate from 65 to about 110, victims.... Honda S2000, Infiniti G35 coupe, Hemi 300c, new sport model Eclipse, Caddy STS, all cars that "should" out perform the LS. I was on the highway over the weekend when a older(early 2000's) M3 gets right on my ass. Its a three lane highway and i'm in the left lane doing about 65-70. The M3 apparently decides i'm not going fast enough for him so he cuts across two lanes to the far right to pass, he's definately trying to get past me, so I'm thinking screw that and we both gun it and i actually pull and beat him up to the next pack of cars and he gets behind me again. He then pulls some crazy stupid sh!t and gets ahead of me and takes off, at that time i'm not really caring to turn it into a race dodging between cars and i keep at my 70 mph pace. Once again though the LS really impressed me with its high speed acceleration while shifting in SST and holding 4th gear. I know from a dead stop it wouldnt be close but the LS can hold its own on the highway. The LS isnt a race car but its nice to let its balls hang alittle sometimes.

What's up man, I have not seen you on the forum lately nice to have you back. I was in the Orlando area a couple months ago, I think I saw you racing on the highway. Nah I didn't but I thought you were real anti-racing if I remember right from your previous posts. I understand every once in a while you gotta give it some pep.

LOL. Just started drivin it again last week. Would you believe we are getting 10-15" of snow today...the first full day of spring. Shes going to be sitting a few more weeks.
I actually can believe it. I hail from Northern MN. We can have 50 above one day, below zero the next... anything's possible. That doesn't take away the fact that it SUCKS when it does happen!
I don't know if I could keep it in the garage that long... but the 4.10's probably don't make for easy winter driving, huh?

Yeah, I was on the interstate the other day and I came upon a 2008 Z06 Corvette. I gave him the signal, and then boy did I let him have it. I whooped his a$$ from 70 mph to 140 mph.

It just depends what you've done to the motor. Yonder 'vette engine is about 1.5 times the size of the one in the LS, so one should be granted the use of both a couple of turbos and 300 HP of spray.
