how you guys doing, well i had gotten rear ended today. and i have to say it is a reason why ls's are a 5 star safety rating car. i was at a stop. while this guy was going i say 30 to 35 miles and hit me and it just took a lil i mean lil paint off my rear bumper nothing else was damaged. but i was wondering how much does the rear bumper cost, and would i have to pay an deductable from my insurance?

If it took a just a lil paint off why do you need a new bumper?

Living i the Key Stone State we have lots of dump trucks hauling slate around. Some of the guys are notorious for pilling the slate to high in the trucks bed and one day one big hunk came out and bounced right off my bumper and took the paint straight off down to the black plastic. I went out and got one of those Dupli color touch up double tip pens along with the filler/primer pen and as long as you have patience it works great! Just do it on a more mild day, its about 77 degrees in my area today with pretty high humidity and the paint started getting tacky while I was applying it both on the brush and on the car so I stopped for the day. After a good detail what ever is barley noticeable with the amount of paint applied should be taken care of.

As far as insurance, not all of us can say we have the same so you might want to just ask about the deductible or look into any of the paper work. I know mine is 500 bucks but it is said to cover almost any price.
