Hey lvc! I got less on reverses but I've seen people with hids on the reverse ....how do u do this? ??

Do you spend a lot of time in reverse?

I'm not sure that the ballasts would be very happy on the trunk lid every time it is slammed closed.

+1 on that, is it really worth the money for something you would rarely pay attention to? I think led's are a better solution.

are you saying you just want super bright reverse lights... or do you actually want HIDs?....

Maybe you have them mistaken for LEDs. Unless you drive in reverse for minutes, I dont see the point, plus you'll have to wait 10-15 seconds everytime you want to reverse until the HIDs warm up to actually see. LEDs should work great, going that route as soon as I get my LS back.

HID's are meant for driving lights, not as flashers or indicator lights.

They can burn out and cause a fire or melt the lens. Stick with led's.
