So I ordered some LEDs for the reverse lights and License plate lights .Well the reverse lights are great but the passenger side socket blew two of the LEDs. They are superbrightleds.com brand so I am not sure if anyone has experience with them or maybe had an idea why the one side might be blowing. I mean when I first tested them out of the housing they worked but as soon as I put them in they did not work.

Any thoughts?

unlike regular bulbs, LEDs MUST have correct polarity.
it is possible to install them backwards, by having the leads reversed. try turning them around.

I did but I will try them again. But if I did install them wrong would it cause them not to work any more?

also try tightening up the tabs in the socket. from my experience, led bases are larger than a regular filament base, so maybe with taking them in and out it expanded them too much. you can use a small flathead to do it (with the power off of course)

kits just weird because my regular bulbs both work still....
