does any company make a LED buld for taillights that will actually light up the housing? all the ones ive seen (autozone) only give off a little dot in the tail light and just looks funny and out of place especially on a big light. ive always wanted to buy them for my bulbs but want something that actually lights up.

does your message center give you a code? i ask because i had read a few members who's message center stayed on thinking that there was a bulb out. you can try superbrightleds.com. if you can't find a suitable LED there then it doesn't exist.
I have not tried them so i am not sure, just the few cars that i have seen them on, like neons and few trucks just have a little dot thats lit up.

it might set off the message center and you would need a resistor. you might want to call superbrightleds.com and talk with a rep and work with them. they should know definitively
