Leaking Valve Cover Gaskets

New too the lincoln ls. I have got a 2000 with leaking valve gaskets can't get any at autozone. Were can u get without going to dealer? The car has got alot of problems like the coils i think are bad, missing while its in gear , try to give it gas while going down the road to pass someone and it will not go just falls on its face. If any one can me PLEASE DO

Ooh wait, let me, let me. First of all welcome new guy. Second of all, leaking VCGs are an almost daily post on this forum. Feel free to use the search feature to read enough information to make you cross-eyed. As to availability/location to buy the VCGs, I got mine at my Ford dealer for about $50. It's a do-it-yourself job, but not for me, I paid a guy in beer for his efforts. Again, welcome aboard.

As a matter of fact I just got my LS back today. She underwent the VGC -ectomy and didn't cost me a dime (under warranty). I told the dude that my coils better not start acting up. He told me they would be glad to take care of them if they do.

Where can u get without going to dealer?

I've found that almost all the parts I've needed have been dealer only items. Welcome to the world of Lincoln
