Just being plain and simple. When I Press the accelerator, the car seems to lag like its not getting the appropriate throttle until I push it further like about 1/2 way. I'm guessing I could try adjusting the throttle cable, but has anyone else done this before on their LS?

Did you recently replace all coils & plugs ?
Did you drive with a misfire for some time ?
When you WOT do you get a burning smell of rotten eggs ?

Could the CATS be plugged up ?

Never replaced coils and plugs, only owned the car for 6mnths.
Never had misfires for as long as I owned it.
No smell at WOT.
CATs as in catalytic converter I am unsure of, but exhaust seems fine.

I have a laggy acceleration as well and I did drive for a little bit with a misfire. Is that the reason for my laggy accel., bigrig?

ebay Visteon coils. I believe they are from the same OEM manufacturer as the Motorcrafts, so they are basically rebadged Motorcrafts. One of the cheaper options, and will give you the quality of OEM. Most here won't recommend anything other than Motorcrafts or Visteon coils.

Guess nobody reads the sticky threads anymore.

Not necessarily, however driving around with a misfire for extended period of time ruins the CATS and plugs them sorta speak.

Exhaust has to flow freely. No Banana in the Tail pipe!

but honestly, I'm not the guy to ask, I'm learning the LS myself as I go
and I tend to make up sh*t aswell.

I'd rely more on guys like Joegr, Hite, Marla and the boys.
