I am getting ready to sell my 05 LS, and this is a mount made specifically for the Lincoln LS, these are high quality mounts made in Germany.
The mount worked great for me till i switched to a newer iPhone and couldnt find a similar pass thru cradle, i did cut a hole in it to pass the iPhone 4 cable to the cradle.
I love the mount, and at the time my interior color was not available, but the black works great with any color.
