Keyless remote problem

Hi guys .

My problem is when you press the lock button twice , the car should lock itself and the horn chirps . Today when I pressed the lock button twice the horn didn't chirp but the horn works when I press the panic button any ideas ???

possible bad battery in remote....or system may need to be reset, id try the less invasive n easier method of battery first
