Keyless Remote help

I have no idea what happened but I went to my car after work today and hit the unlock and nothing happened. Had to unlock manually with the key and get in the car. I came home and tried the driver 2 key fob and same thing... nothing. I tried to reprogram with the keypad, enter the code and hold down one and two and when the lock cycles press the driver 1 keypad then the driver 2 key pad and the reprogram did not take. I tried the ignition key method and that did not take either. Now these are both new keypads (the car did not come with any and I bought these at the dealer) Anyone have any ideas what might have happened??? I hate the thought of spending $100 for factory remote unlock fobs and not having them work.

FOB batteries bad? Fluke for both to go, but you never know.

No both batteries are brand new

Might be the in dash module then.

any one know the location of it? I just had the dash out to replace the Blend door. It was working for a week after that and it just stopped working out of no where...

I have the same problem if you get the solution, let me know it just started yesterday.

I just tried reprogramming it a few weeks later and it took the reprogram. Don't know what the problem was...

My first thought, trunk harness along the left hinge. 96 and earlier are affect this way. It breaks apart and then trunk release and other systems freak out. Even brake lights can fail. Maybe take a look, worth a shot.
