ka-thunk when shutting front passanger door

So guys, I am having a ka-thunk sound right after shutting my front passanger door... sound like it might be the speaker...anyone ever have a speaker come 'free' in side the door...or is it likely something else? Only hear it when i am closing the door immediately after it strikes.
 
hmmm. Speaker could be it..

why don't you just open it all up and see what's loose.. takes about 5-10 minutes to take the door paneling apart.. 6-7 screws

I would but I'm visiting my relatives and am quite aways from home to take it apart at the moment :-) so just figured I'd throw it out there to give you guys something to talk about :-)

Besides didn't want the flux-capacitor to fall out of the door when I do get back home.

I had a similar issue with my 06 shortly after I got it. There was a rattle in the driver's door only when the door was pulled closed. Turned out a bolt was missing that secured the window regulator to the door frame. The noise was from the loose speed clip. The dealer installed the bold (thereby securing the speed clip) and the noise was gone.

I'm not sure what the source of your problem might be. Disirregardless, you'll have to open up the door to know for sure.

I have this too in my 06, like a little clunk in the door when I go over a bump. Might be the same thing, I'll have to take a look...
 
my 05 has the same problem but only when the window is down, going into stealership sat to get fixed
 
My 04 had a noise like the door was rattling in the frame when going over bump or ruff road. There is TSB about lubing the door latch. I used spray white lithium on the latch while working it. Did not have to take off door panel. I have not heard the noise since.
 
The TBS is 05-6-07 said a squeak or creaking noise on rough road or bumps.
It directed to 2005 LS but mine is a 2004. I read about this from others with same problem than were not 2005 LS.
