K&N Filter

Has anyone jus used a K & N filter in place of there factory filter..? Did u notice any gains... and is it worth the price.?

if you're going to go for an upgrade go for the full kit from LSKoncepts I have yet to see a car that feels any real noticeable gain on a stock replacement K&N. More often than not you find fouled MAFs because of too much oil put on the filter.

No real noticeable gain. I have one installed now. Go the extra 40 bucks and get the KKM from lskoncepts.

With that being said, if you don't plan on getting the KKM, just wait until your air filter needs replacing, then replace it with the K&N. AT least you'll never have to buy another filter.

I noticed mpg gains, but not power, although I did get 40 series flows installed the same day. got about 2mpg overall.
