I was extremely upset about my car messing up especially with my kids in the car considering the day before they gave me it back & said they could find nothing wrong even though it went into failsafe mode 3 times that day.

I still love my LS I just wish I didn't have so many issues with it.

P.S. what happened to the thread where that guy was talking about making spoilers & such for our cars?

I love that.. I sorry blah blah blah.. What happened ..............? Just blew it off.. :p

I'm sure people will understand.. Sh!t happens..

I feel you i would have been p'd off too.

matter fact i havent been in a good mood lately cause i just got mine and already had to do tires, and now ive gotta do serp belt and the tensioner, the front bumper is pretty jacked up so gotta get that painted.

No tint from factory, so i did that as well. And the engine splash guard fell off, so yeah. But the car is so freakin beatiful and nice to drive even if it eats up $$$.

It's all relative. The LS is cheap in perspective.

I lost my Powerstroke motor in my diesel truck a few weeks ago, out of warranty. The drop in replacement is $16k, plus tax. Whats a few door regulators, plastic cooling system parts or a set of 8 coils in my future.

The frustrating thing for anyone is when dealer techs can't find issues or things happen one after another. The best thing is to find a resource like this site and see what issues lay in front of you. You can then start to make "maintenance" repairs before or as things happen to keep the frustration at bay, and the cost when it's more convenient.

On my wife's LS I know brakes go at 40k miles with her use. So now at 80k, they are being replaced by mileage, and it turns out they are down to their limits. One window regulator just went, so the drivers side has been ordered at a good price and I'll take care of that at a convenient time before a problem happens on a rainy day.

Plugs will be coming up soon, so I'm starting to also look at POC pricing as 100k seems to be the key. If I can replace known problems preventively at low cost and at my convenience, my wife's happy and I'm happy.

Having my children in the car, yeah I'd be torqued, too.

That was a little out of the blue, but yeah I understand.

Oh and that thread, I was excited to see what he would come out with. He wrote a post saying something about his car being a lot lighter now that he filled his tires with nitrogen and some members called him on it, since regular air is mostly nitrogen already, and that nitrogen's function was for other things, not a lighter tire. He got butt hurt and said that since we're going to make fun of him he wont do anything anymore, basically, and just delete all his post and bailed.
