Well I spent a good couple hours at the salvage yard today. Wanted to get a new interior carpet( mine is f'ed up in the back seat). Well I happend to come accross not 1 but 2 LSE's on the lot. I managed to grab the rear surround, carpet (in very nice shape), some misc interior and exterior parts for the grand total of $107. I wanted to grab a front bumper but they chop the front clip off all the cars to remove the motor; by the way they have a LSE motor with 114K on it for $750. I am very tempted to pick it up and rebuild it for a spare, its worth that alone for the m90 supercharger. They have 3 of the factory 17" 8 spoke wheels in the gunmetal grey as well as 2 of the 17" chrome. My friend works up there so he gives me a deal. If there are any parts that anyone is looking for please pm me and I'll see if I can grab them for you. I also found a killer website that can link you to all the salvage yards in the usa www.car-part.com. I found a 2006 ls 3.9 v8 with only 1000 miles going for $900.

I'm curious what you mean "Its worth that ($750) alone for the m90 supercharger" ? An LSE motor is the same as any LS motor, it has no more power than a standard LS.

Otherwise nice finds on the LSE surround and rear carpet.

Yes, also wondering about the supposed supercharger.

Check on a rear valance on those LSE's. The piece surrounding the exhaust tips. pm me a price please.

My mistake there were a few LSE's that came with the " Mclaren engine with an Eaton M90 supercharger". here is a clip from the article.

The "Powered by McLaren Engines" Lincoln LSE is equipped with an Eaton supercharger that adds 98 horsepower to the 3.9-liter V-8, for a total of 350. McLaren also paired the engine with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The full McLaren treatment includes a lowered ride height, upgraded brakes, and eighteen-inch O-Z wheels. Expect 0 to 60 mph to take about 6.2 seconds. The LSE modifications—$18,000 all told for the complete engine/brakes/suspension/ wheels/six-speed—will be available this fall through as many as 100 Lincoln dealers nationwide. This was an april 2009 article in "Automobile magazine"

Pektel I will be going back next week and they have 2 LSE's that have perfect rear valances. I was going to grab one for myself but I also need the side skirts and wouldn't you know both cars have the same side damaged. I should have a price next week.

That was one LSE that mclaren grabbed to mod but ford didn't pick it up to produce it. LS and LSE have the same engine.

get an LSE fog light assembly for either side? One of my lenses is shattered think some kicked that :q:q:q:q in.

if any of the LS's were Silver Birch (JP) I wouldn't mind having the bumper.....or an LSE front bumper :P

Good finds but, heh I dont think I will be sending anyone on here anymore money.. Wish a salvage yard around here even had a LS.

Good Idea, unless they are someone known well. I've made several transactions with no issues. Alax and Adam Moore are good people to deal with. There's many other people I wouldn't worry about doing business with either. You just have to watch the wacko's that come from no where.

Thanks. We just have to watch out for new member only trying to sell. We all know the usuals are on here and I doubt any of them would try to pull anything like that.

Ahhhhhhh....... What might have been. There were NO, ZERO, NADDA, NYET LSes made by anyone with a working supercharger. McLaren made ONE LS with a supercharger attached producing ZERO pounds of boost. It did sound nice, though! McLaren was never able to crack the PCM (they probably heard of the LS' demise before the general public so didn't try) so sold the car with the supercharger in the trunk. There is a thread here about the sale of that car.

One should NEVER believe the auto rags. They are full of disinformation. Besides, why would McLaren sink any money into a car that was discontinued 3 years from the article's date? And one with a total production run of less than 400K vehicles?

Yeah, Alex is a staight up guy, and if he does do someone wrong I know where he lives...

hahahahaha!!!!!!

Don't worry Alex I got your back.

My dyslexia kicked in and I totally read that as, "Yeah, Alex is straight up gay.." about 3 times haha..

Pete what bumper are you looking for Front or rear.

I can also understand how some of you feel about getting burned by someone. I got burned by some douche on ebay. So I am fighting with paypal, they returned his money and he did not return the product, I also stated no returns on the ad.

You can all check this site out www.car-part.com

They have a listing for all the salvage yards in the usa. I already looked and there are tons of LS parts.
