Well I guess this should have been in another forum but.... I just wanted to thank everyone. This is a great site and has really really helped me I'm extremely busy and hardly have time to get online here,but when i do i try to post. Thats pretty much it, i'm tired and its only 5:35 p.m. in ponchatoula louisiana... OK so theres really no reason for this post or anything, except for thanks for an awesome web site! I'm not sure how to post a question, so I thought I'd ask on this reply. Maybe someone can tell me how to post. I have an 89 Lincoln Towncar. (198000 miles). I've replaced the air flow valve, the EGR sensor and the EGR valve but my car hesitates on the highway and in town. Sometimes at stoplights the engine RPMS increase and make the car lurch and inch or two. I can't figure out if it's electrical or fuel related or what. Any ideas?

Have you done a tune-up? Could be as simple as that.

Same thing was happening to me...

Look at your brake check valve near the brake booster. It's a cheap 4 dollar piece and if it's worn around the edges you have a vacuum leak. Takes about 10 seconds to fix and the part's at autozone.
