i bought the lse bumper for my 2nd gen. i got it for 300 bucks brand new but i couldnt get the lower chrome molding with it. my question is will there be like an unpainted ugly opening where the chrome piece shoudl go or will i be able to actually use the bumper without the chrome piece since i dont really care for it? never heard of anyone using it without the chrome molding so i didnt bother searching!!!!!!!!

I have the bumper with no chrome trim I keep forgetting to order it but i believe from Max it's like 190 I think prob mistaken but yeah. It looks okay you won't really notice it.

As for the fogs did you get the mounting bracket?

After looking at it you can prob rig something up but it will be exposed

I took the piece off mine when I had it painted. I liked the look so much I didn't bother replacing it. There are some slots around the lower edge where the strip attaches, but IMHO they aren't very noticeable. If you don't have the bumper yet, you will see what I mean when you get it.

The stock lights come in a bracket that affixes to the bumper. It's more like a housing than a bracket.

that what you should get

These were what I was looking at when I get my LSE.. They also can come tinted if you look through eBay..

But they say 2002 and Idk if they are the same.. Plus, they are just OEM replacements..

wont fit the housing and the holes to line up witht he bracket are different....i believe so...pretty sure...

this is where i got the bumper. i opted for the aftermarket one as i doubt there will be much of a difference. but... to each his ....sike!!! i'll never say it...

Do you see those slots in the bottom of the grille opening in the picture? Those are the slots in which the chrome strip slides. As you can, as the area behind the grille opening will be dark/shaded, those slots will be barely noticeable. Even if you notice them, they look like they belong there.
