jerking when car first accelerates?????

when my car gets first acceleration it stutters, after that fine the rest of time driving. only really happens if car isn't all the way warmed up but happens other times too but only right after car has been started.......any clue or idea what this is??? oh yeah no check engine light on either......please help

you could scan it anyway to see if there is any stored codes.. Sounds like the cops are on their way out. Year, Engine, and Mileage will help out others also..

2002 v6 130000 miles, had new spark pugs put in bout 10000 miles ago as well

Is it a tranny jerk or an engine jerk?
Also assuming it's not just the engine revving high while the PCM is warming it up. Which is normal.
Could be the tranny solenoid. Do some searches - there's a distinctive signature to that common failure.
If it's purely the engine I would suspect the IAC. Take it off, clean it (and all the hoses attached to it), new gasket, check that the valves move easily, etc.
