I've had about enough of my 1997 Lincoln. Every time it starts to run well, I better be expecting a :q:q:q:q storm next week.

The drivers side seat doesn't work. I have no idea what it could be, is there a fuse? Bad tracks? bad motor? Help with this please.

Not only that, but summer is right around the corner, and I have no air-conditioning in my car. It turns on, blows REALLY strong for about a second, and shuts itself off, and doesn't blow air at all anymore. Is this the intermittent blower motor problem I faced a while ago acting up again? Or could this be that blend-door nonsense? Either way, I need to fix that.

And this is probably on the wrong fourm, but I need a Lock unlock button for a gen 2!

My guess is the motor end of the pigtail wire for the blower motor has a bad connection. Frequent problem. Take your glove box out and the fan should be right there. I had to have jamie send me a new wire and motor. The plug in the motor came out with the pigtail when I attempted to fix mine.

The problem is the wire gets hot, and the connection comes loose. Ez fix. Bend the prongs closer together and plug it back in.

Kustomized, do you really? PM me so we can work something out.

No ideas as to the drivers seat?

I finally got around to cleaning it, waxing it and such, fixed the blower motor, but nothing is coming out of the vents. The blower motor will run strong, but no air to the vents. Any ideas?

I got a courtesy light, which I've been meaning to do for a while, and got my chrome- 10 spokes on the car. I'm starting to like this car again.

35 minutes later, my passenger side headlight is out.

the marker light still works, and one of the two bulbs is still on. someone give me the rundown on the headlight bulb situation.

The HID bulb went out? If thats the case the only fix is getting a new bulb, which is discontinued so you'll need to find a used one or get an adapter kist to use and aftermarket HID setup.

You can try cleaning and lubing the seat track, if that doesn't work replacement might be the only choice. I have a seat adn track too.

Yea, thoroughly check the seat track. I know if theres any stuff in mine the seat won't respond. I'd also say to check the blower motor connection. I did this on mine a few months ago. If you're unfamiliar with the blower motor connection, let me know, I'm local and may be able to help.
