Well now that we've had a few nice days in IL I decided to get the ole mark up and going. And thats been a adventure...

First midway through the winter my battery froze in the -30 temps and it hasnt taken a charge since then. My dad had the old bat from his truck laying around and guess what, It was dead in a couple weeks. Idk if its draining from lack of use or something is draining it. Anywho it starts with a jump and as long as I dont leave it off for more than a day it starts fine. So I'm hoping a new bat will take care of this issue, but it appears that leaving them sit during the winter is almost as hard as driving them.

The newest prolems is that my heater fan isnt working at all. I had this problem once b4 where water was getting on a board and it wasnt working. So I resealed that thing under the cowl. I kind of wondering if this isnt the problem again. I suppose I'll check it out when its a bit nicer out.

Anyway I started a nice list of things that need to be done b4 the beach party and I dont think it will be fun.

1. Change Oil Pan
2. New Blend Door
3. Find leak in brand new bags (places to look here would be helpful, but I think its just the seal isnt sealed right)
4. Find Vacum leak
5. Change Sway bar end link
6. Figure how to make my radio stop whisteling. A power wire and speaker cable are touching somewhere and I dont know where.

Even with that list I still missed driving the car and have enjoyed it the past couple days.

You sound like me. I just had mine out last weekend tinkering with things i want to get done b4 I officially take it out of storage. im excited for spring!

Post up some pics.... I took mine out this weekend, did a few thing, and trust me I have a HUGE list for mine....

Post up some pics!

I feel you on the "list" Mine is about a mile long. Good thing is that I have most of the damn parts!

Ohhh and for the whine, try upgrading your existing ground on your alternator and whatever amps you have

Never really thought about upgrading the ground on the alternator thanks for the tip.

But I do know where the problem is though.... When I installed the components in the doors I had to run new wire and it had to go down the same side as the power. We tried crossing the wires at 90 degrees but that didnt help it much. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this. It's really damn annoying when I have the volume louder than full :D

Well I haven't tried my 94 yet. New battery is in the garage just waiting for my Tranny to get finished. I thought it was going to be done last week but I guess not.

Your leak with the air bags is probably caused by the solenoid not going all the way in the new air bags (two twists), and also you failed to put new "O" rings on the nose of the solenoid. The new air bags are made for the newer solenoids which have a slightly shorter projection. In order to fix this throw away the yellow foam marshmellow and with a sharp knife trim off the short piece of plastic cage that held it in place. Install fresh "O" rings and lube with dielectric grease and reassemble. If you didn't remove the plastic air lines from the solenoids you should be good to go. However, if you did remove them then be sure there are no burrs on the tube or on the face of the tube as this needs to seat against a small "O" ring to seal. You need to shove the hose into the solenoid and pull back on the collar to lock the hose in place.

Auctually the new "O" rings were put on there and they were lubed. The Solenoids were never removed but I dont remember how many turns they went in and I also can't recall the yellow foam marshmellow. Just drawing a blank on that... Anyone have any pics?

When this gets taken apart again do I need to purchase new "O" rings to put them back together?

Thanks for the info Roadboss
