Hello everyone,

Well here's my situation, i researched and researched and finally bought me a Double din radio.. Kenwood dnx8120.

Wellllll let me first say i guess this kenwood is larger than the pioneer unitr because it JUST barely doesnt fit. And its pissing me off... The inner corners of the bezel is whats stopping it. I guess it wants a perfect rectangle...

now i know i could go in and dremel away at that but Im thinking it will look like crap because im assuming thats visible... im pulling my hair out here...

i think the Pioneer D3 is a 6.1 and this one is a 6.9 screen... Arrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!Helpppp

I had to make relief cuts at the corners of the bezel from the back side of it to fit the Pioneer through as well. I then painted the inner lip of the bezel where my Pioneer comes through black so you can not see any cuts unless you are looking for them with your head 1 inch from the radio.

I installed a kenwood ddx-6019 and I had to file the corners out with a rat tail file. Take your time and it will turn out well. I can't even tell on mine and I am VERY particular
