Is anyone else having issues with a premature shift in sst mode?
Taking off in 1st WOT in sst mode I shift into 2nd around 6k and then less than a second later it shifts into 3rd on its own. Only happens at WOT.
I've talked with Torrie about it possibly being in the tune. He returned that area to stock and sent me an updated file. Still doing it.

YES! I've been meaning to start a thread about it myself.

This has just been happening recently though. I've had my Torrie tune for years...

I've been experiencing all sorts of weird behavior from my LS as well so I'm completely lost. Any insight would be truly appreciated.

I was considering returning to stock and see if it still does it. But since you've had your tune for years and the problem just started recently I don't see that helping us. Could it be that our trans needs to be reflashed? And then load our tunes again...

nope, never had that problem, but sometimes i pull the shifter back at the top of 2nd and it never shifts, instead i bounce off the limiter then when i pull the shifter back again it will shift right into 4th...

F@%$ SST! never have this problem in cars with the 3rd pedal...

I returned to stock and it shifts like it should. Loaded basic 93 tune without firmness and no timing added and it also shifts correctly. I talked to Torrie more about it and he sent me another file. I'll load it tomorrow and give an update.

You must be pushing so hard the car thinks you're shifting twice. In SST the transmission WILL NOT EVER up-shift on it's own. It will hold whatever gear yoe have selected.

Maybe the contacts in the up-shift micro-switch are going bad?

I did have an issue with that in my 2000 while under warranty. I couldn't access D4 due to a bad diode in the shifter. They ended up replacing the shifter. Too bad they wouldn't spring for the SST shifter..... I had to procure that on my own.
