hello everyone, i am a new member but have gotten alot of good advice through eavesdropping. i have 2002 lincoln ls v8 love the car. first my radio controls on the steering wheel started to work in reverse order. then the cruise control had malfunctioned. next, all of a sudden the horn just stopped working. then the airbag light started flashing, then over time it went off. now, every time i start the vehicle i hear a series of five beeps(25 total) and it is driving me insane. i would go to the dealer but they tried to get my to replace my entire cooling system when all i needed was antifreeze. i value the opinion of this forum, could someone give me some insight.

Sounds like the clockspring to me.

Clockspring. I changed mine, only takes about 30 minutes. There is even a write up on this site with instructions.
