Interior lights stay on

Lights will not go out inside of the car,So I had to pull the fuse for them.

I don't know why it's doing this,I've switched out the dimmer switch and still have this problem. Could it be the button that tells the car to turn the lights on when the door is opened? I think it might be stuck or something. ????? I've sprayed the latch down pretty good with wd40. I'm at my wits end.

Do they stay on when you drive down the road? or do they time out and go off? does the message center tell you one of the doors/trunk are open?
If they dont go off you have a dead short or a bad bcm....

If they don't turn off after you accelerate to 5 mph it has to be something with a switch that tells the lights to turn off. It shouldn't be an issue with the door ajar because the lights should still shut off after 5mph.

On my 98 lsc, the wires inside the DS door chaffed and melted together. The interior lights stayed on all the time too.

Nope...they stay on all the time. No matter what I'm doing,driving,sitting still,no matter what.

I'll take the door apart today and see if I had any melted together. Thanks
