LVC members, I need your help.

Does anyone know if the 2000-2002 and 2003-2006 cowl kick panels are the same?

I was under the assumption that they were. When I had my custom kick panels made to house a set of component speakers, the person who built they had an 2000 LS and my LS is a 2005. He told me that both parts were the same and that they didn't change between the different model years. When he built them off of MY 05 kick panels that I sent him, there were no issues with them dropping back in, even though he had built them in his 2000 LS.

When I called the dealer to quote replacement panels, they said the price they gave me was for vehicles 7/03 to X/06 models. I should have asked for part #'s for 00-02 and 03-06 but I did not but this tells me the panels are different.

I am hoping someone on here has the knowledge to tell me whether or not there was a difference for this part between model years.

Thanks,
LincolnLSQ

well the body of the car where the panels snap in could be exactly the same but different years could have some small difference, like where the cut out is for the fuel cut off, or just be slightly different colors.

Ahh ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
