ok, i removed a window from a mark at a local yard. i disassembled the motor and someone shimmied it out.

I have the wonow at my house and im trying to install it. The window still has the track on it and im not sure on how to get the plastic things to fit inside it. i got one of them on but the other seems to be a bit more complicated getting them both im.

im freaking stuck and im so bent out of shape tryng to figure this out.

how do you install the passenger side window?

For example, does the window have to be all the way down? All the way up?

i removed the two nuts on the door that allow the arm closest to the inside of the door to swivel up and down on an angle but as far as getting them both on I am freaking lost.

not everyone leaves their deck in the car lol. in my area thats an invitation to smash the window. I even hide my ipod and take the cassete deck adapter out because I've seen cars broken into for little ipod shuffles. Same goes for gps mounts, those are the worst. I've sold customers gps systems only to see em a few days later w/ a broken window.

I cant say I ever did this, sorry.

If not one helps, try jamies98lsc when he is online. Thats his AIM screen name, no 97, its 98. If anyone knows, he knows!!

thanks unity... some how i got it out, but i unbolted the window motor and that looks like a pain to put back in.

believe you me i was struggling to figure this out holding the window with one hand and trying to slide it on with the other. im about to just take it somewhere. i figure i saved money on getting the junkyard oem for 6 bucks... i also have to have it retinted so maybe ill just let the tint guy handle it and throw it together.

also my a wire came out on the window switch.. im guessings its the power wire because its hot, its like a reddish color with a stripe, it just like fell out. If anyones had any luck re saudering the pass window switch wires lemme know they seem like a pain in the arse.

this is by far the worst thing ive ever done, primary because there was no one to really explain how to install it.

im still stuck. - i managed to get it on the outside tab thinger that slides onto the window but the inside one, im not sure how to angle it so i just put the window down and let it be because it got dark.

acha i need to rivet it to the channel thinger before iinstall it... well that solves that, i dont own a rivet gone so that explains why im pulling my hair out trying to install the window with the channel rivited to the window and trying put those white plastic things threw it.

anyone done this by not riveting it? im assuming theres no possible way with the channel rivited to the glass.

anyone have experience riveting? Is it worth it to attempt to go buy it myself and remove the revits and rivet the new window in or is it one of those things i should just take it somewhere and have it done.

ive done everying besides get the window in, im stuck on the rivet part. Kudos to Jmiles... i was relentless wrestlying with the window trying to get the window already riveted to the channel thing because i manged to get it out by removing the window motor. I would still be wrestling with it right now trying to get it in! Thanks!
